Advocacy
Advocates work with patients on a one-to-one basis, contacting doctors and hospitals to help negotiate down medical payments and bills. We need people who are good listeners and have good phone skills. More details.
Medical Professionals
We need doctors, dentists and nurses who might be willing to donate services or provide discounted rates. Individuals with skills are urged to lend a hand.
We are striving to establish a "Doctors Network" of recommended professionals to help our massive community stay healthy. Most festival participants are self-employed and therefore have a tendency to be under insured or uninsured. We are interested in networking to provide free clinics in the areas of the country when our community is present. If you are or you know a doctor, nurse, dentist, therapist, or anyone in the medical field who is interested in how services can be offered to our community at low or no cost, please contact us. Some doctors set up "mobile clinics" and come to us on scheduled days. Some doctors allow us to mention we are with the faire, and they do not charge us an office visit charge. We need help getting our community to have access to good medical care.
RESCU Rallies
Attend or volunteer when our community gathers to help those in need. If your festival does not already have a Rally, YOU could be the person to get one started. Contact us for information on how to do this. Contact us if you have any knowledge, information, or particular service that you believe may helpful.
